- Individual: $2000
- Total: $17,000
- Total Outreach: 15 people
Outreach Cadence
- A cadence is a framework for the sales process (Day 1: Call and send email, Day 4: Follow Up Call, etc). Basically, it lays out the steps you should take to exercise effective outreach.
- Rivalry Deadline is November 4th and we sold less than normal for BOAA so we really need to PUSH rivalry! I believe in you guys but outreach and follow ups will be key to securing sales.
- Quick Fact: It takes on average 8 touches to get in contact with a prospect so consistent outreach & follow up is key!
Rivalry Cadence:
Week 1: (10/24-10/28)
Step 1: Marketing First Contact: On Monday 10/24, marketing sending out mass email to list of advertisers so your first point of contact should be a call (and no need for follow up call unless they give you a specific email to reach out to).
Step 2: Day 1- Follow Up Call
Basic Call Script: “Hi this is ______ and I work for the Michigan Daily and am calling on behalf of Wolverine Media Group. I wanted to let you know that the Daily’s Rivalry Edition is back! Every year we work with Ohio States publication to produce a joint special edition for the Ohio State game, which is distributed on both campuses for the game!
This edition is a great opportunity to promote your businesses to the masses who will have eyes on Michigan and Ohio State for the big game! Today we sent an email with more details on our advertising opportunities but I wanted to call you personally because…
if past client: I saw you advertised a {AD SIZE} in {YEAR} and wanted to let you know that we are selling three ad packages combining print ads in the paper, digital ads on our website as well as social media ads on one of The Michigan Daily’s three social media platforms.
